This is a 41"×63" Turkish Rug in a very classic all over field design with hundreds of botehs (or flower buds)
With three complimentary borders. The colors are rose, black, and white. This is a very well taken care of rug, is 40 or 50 years old, and would make an excellent central rug for a small room.
This rug as with all handmade rugs, has individual wool strands tied one by one on to warp and weft threads on a large hand loom. The number of 8 hour days spent tying the knots on this rug considering its knot count and size is more than 50 days. That of course doesn't include the cost of wool, dying wool, and cotton foundation. This piece of art is $149.
